A very cool custom build Telecaster with heavy relic and quality parts and electronics. I based this project a bit on a Blackguard Telecaster. This was a nice little personal project of mine, which did cost a lot of time and I have to say, it turned out great! The guitar sounds very nice, low action, nice sustain.. It is time to let this one go and on to the next project! 🙂
Take a good look at the photos, as they are also part of the description. See below for the specifications.
Alder body, in butterscotch finish, heavy relic. Maple neck of a Squier Affinity, sanded and reliced. The body previously had a ‘top-loader’ bridge, so you still see 3 screw holes of that bridge (see photos). But it’s a relic so it didn’t bother me 🙂
New 250k Pots, new jack input, Mustard .47 capacitor, Cloth wiring, U.S.A. made 3-way switch (see last photos)
New Göldo Vintage T-Style Bridge, slightly reliced, Period correct reliced ‘dome’ knobs, string tree, switch knob and 5 screw black pickguard (Made in Japan). The guitar has Squier Affinity tuners which would be nice to replace these with the vintage style Kluson tuners ofcourse!
